Aoashi Season 2 Announced for 2026 With New Studio
Aoashi anime announced Season 2 with a teaser visual earlier today. The second season will premiere in 2026. Studio TMS Entertainment is animating, replacing Production I.G, which animated the first season in 2022.

Akira Sato directed the first season of the Aoashi anime with Masahiro Yokotani on the series composition. Character designers included Saki Hasegawa, Toshie Kawamura, Manabu Nakatake, and Asuka Yamaguchi. Masaru Yokoyama composed the music. The staff for the second season was not announced.
The anime is adapting the original manga by Yugo Kobayashi, serialized since 2015 by Shogakukan. The manga is slated to end in 2025 with Volume 40. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime and describes the plot:
After a loss in his last junior high school soccer tourney, Ehime Prefecture’s ace player, Ashito Aoi, is devastated but in every loss there’s a victory. Tatsuya Fukuda, manager of an organization that trains students for one of the leading clubs in the J-League, sees Ashito’s raw talent and offers a tryout to his group. Together they’ll bring the youth club and Aoshi’s talents to new heights!
