Atsumi Tanezaki Joins Blue Archive Game as Seia Yurizono

After a long wait, the much-anticipated announcement has finally come! Faithful Blue Archive players have been waiting a long time for Seia to be announced as a playable character. In fact, there are memes about her inability to speak due to a lack of a voice actress. Well, the wait is finally over, as Nexon has finally announced Atsumi Tanezaki as the voice actress for Seia. The mute fox will finally find her voice! 

Seia will be a limited 3-star character, only available through recruitment. Her banner will run on the Japan and Korean servers from January 20th until January 27th. Global users, unfortunately, will have to wait a few months for the opportunity as they are only now getting the “Say Bing” update. 

Atsumi Tanezaki is well known for her work as Chise Hotori in The Ancient Magus’ Bride, Anya Forger in Spy x Family, and, of course, Frieren from Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, so this announcement has many fans buzzing. 

Blue Archive is a gacha game made by the South Korean game developer Nexon, first released in Japan on February 4th, 2021. Globally, it was released on November 8th, 2021. Known for its unique take on high school (and high school girls), fast-paced gameplay, and compelling story, Blue Archive offers a gacha game popular worldwide. 

The game received an anime adaptation by Yostar Pictures and Candy Box in Spring 2024 anime season. Adapting volume 1 of the main story The Foreclosure Task Force.
