Captain Tsubasa Joins Manga Plus Lineup With One Week Free Reading
Captain Tsubasa manga is now available on the Manga PLUS by Shueisha app and website in English. For the first week (until April 12) all chapters will be free to read. After April 12 (JST), the series will be available exclusively to the users with Deluxe Subscription Plan.

Captain Tsubasa is a football manga series created by Yoichi Takahashi. The manga was serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from 1981 to 1988 and includes a number of spin-offs, sequels, and one shots, including various anime adaptations. The latest installment of the series, Captain Tsubasa Rising Sun FINALS, is currently being serialized on the Captain Tsubasa World website, in the form of storyboard/rough sketches because author Takahashi retired last year.
The series has sold over 90 million copies in Japan alone.
