Dan Da Dan Season 2 Announced for July 2025
The DAN DA DAN anime concluded today and immediately announced a sequel: a Season 2 set for a July 2025 release date. Science SARU animated the smash hit of the Fall 2024 anime season, with Fuuga Yamashiro as the director. A key visual for the continuation was revealed:
The staff for the first season of DAN DA DAN anime also included Naoyuki Onda as character designer and Hiroshi Seko on the series composition. Kensuke Ushio composed the music. Creepy Nuts and Zutomayo performed the opening and ending theme songs, respectively.
The cast for the series includes:

While the anime was licensed as DAN DA DAN, the officially licensed title for the manga was one word: Dandadan. The manga by Yukinobu Tatsu is currently serialized on the Shonen Jump+ platform. VIZ Media is publishing it in English.
The anime is streaming on Crunchyroll and Netflix. The former describes the plot:
When high schooler Momo, from a family of spirit mediums, first meets her classmate Okarun, an occult geek, they argue—Momo believes in ghosts but denies aliens, and Okarun believes in aliens but denies ghosts. When it turns out both phenomena are real, Momo awakens a hidden power and Okarun gains the power of a curse. Together, they must challenge the paranormal forces threatening their world.
