DanMachi: Is It Wrong to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Season 5 is set to resume broadcasting on February 8, 2025. The fan-favorite anime has been on an indefinite delay since the 11th episode. The news on the continuation was initially announced in the January 12 release of the 15th volume of the DanMachi spin-off light novel Sword Oratoria. The dates for the DanMachi V final episodes are as follows:
- February 8: episodes 12-13
- February 27: episode 14
- March 5: episode 15
ABEMA will stream episodes a day early in Japan.
This season adapts the light novel "Goddess of Fertility" arc. The delay was announced at the beginning of the war game between the Freya Familia and the Hestia Familia’s coalition. Since that announcement back in December, fans have eagerly waited for what promises to be the best battle of the show.
DanMachi: Is It Wrong to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?
Adapting Fujino Omori's light novel (art by Suzuhito Yasuda)Is It Wrong to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? centers on the exploits of Bell Cranel. Dreaming of becoming a lauded adventurer, Bell forms a "familia" with the lonely goddess Hestia. With her blessing, he heads into the monster-riddled dungeon under Orario. But his dreams of being exalted are quickly dashed as one of his first forays almost ends with his picture on an obituary. Yet, due to the newfound sense of admiration he gained for his rescuer, Bell supercharges his quest to become a legendary hero. As the newbie adventurer faces an increasing level of threats, he quickly gains recognition and prestige for his actions. But with that prestige comes the gaze of many he'd be better off without.
