Devil May Cry Animated Series Reveals Official Trailer
Netflix has released the official trailer for the upcoming animated series of Devil May Cry, premiering April 3.
The series will be produced by the Korean animation studio, Studio Mir, which recently animated X-Men '97 and produced the adaptation of the manhwa Lookism. The show is written and produced by Adi Shankar, the show runner and executive producer for Netflix's Castlevania and Castlevania: Nocturne, both adult animated series adapting the video games by Konami.
The English voice cast for Devil May Cry has been announced as follows:
- Johnny Yong Bosch as Dante
- Scout Taylor-Compton as Lady
- Hoon Lee as White Rabbit
- Chris Coppola as Enzo Ferino
- Kevin Conroy as VP Baines

Devil May Cry is based on the Japanese action video game of the same name, created by Hideki Kamiya and primarily developed and published by Capcom. The titles revolve around the demon hunter, Dante, and often involve his conflicts with his brother Virgil, alongside various demonic invasions of Earth. The series loosely takes inspiration from the 14th century poem Divine Comedy.
The series received a previous Japanese anime adaptation in 2007, titled Devil May Cry: The Animated Series, produced by Madhouse and set directly between Devil May Cry and Devil May Cry 2.
Devil May Cry will premiere on Netflix on April 3.
