Fate/strange Fake Reveals New Character Visuals at AnimeJapan 2025
Fate/strange Fake anime revealed two new character visuals at the AnimeJapan 2025 stage earlier today. The visuals feature Flat Escardos / Berserker and Sigma. Gakuto Kajiwara is joining the cast as Sigma. The broadcast of the anime is still scheduled for 2025.
The anime is directed by Shun Enokido and Takahito Sakazume at studio A-1 Pictures with Daisuke Ohigashi on the series composition and script. Yukei Yamada is in charge of the character designs, with several character teasers released in recent months. Hiroyuki Sawano composes the music, and also produced the theme song "FAKEit" performed by SawanoHiroyuki[nZk]:Laco.
The Fate/strange Fake anime adapts the light novel series of the same name, written by Ryogo Narita and illustrated by Morii Shizuki. The series is an alternate timeline in Type-Moon's broader Fate/stay night franchise, which has featured visual novels and multiple anime adaptations. In 2023, A-1 Pictures produced a feature-length prologue film titled Fate/strange Fake: Whispers of Dawn, while the "full" anime series aired the first episode in December 2024.
