Gnosia Announces Anime Adaptation

Petit Depotto's visual novel Gnosia is getting a TV anime adaptation. The adaptation was announced with a trailer and visual earlier today. Aniplex will be producing. Studio and staff information were not revealed at this time.

The anime is slated to premiere in 2025. The visual novel is set aboard a spaceship and has the player trying to deduce who on board is a Gnosia - an impostor who is seeking to kill humans on board.

The visual novel was developed by Petit Depotto, who also published it in Japan for Nintendo Switch. The game was originally released for PlayStation Vita in June 2019, later ported to Switch, and then released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One. and Xbox Series X/S last December.

Representative of Petit Depotto stated that they received an offer from Aniplex producer who promised to create a work that would overshadow the original game. Upon seeing their determination they decided to take up the project. The game studio is overseeing the anime and is determined to create a show that will make viewers not want to miss a single episode, using expressions and movements that were not possible in the game.
