Heartslabyul Cast to Return for Disney Twisted Wonderland Anime

Disney+ Japan has announced the main cast for the first season of the upcoming Disney Twisted Wonderland anime series: the voice actors from the games are returning. The first season, titled Episode of Heartslabyul will highlight Book 1: The Red-Rose Tyrant from the Twisted Wonderland game. The season will focus on the Heartslabyul dorm, which draws inspiration from the Queen of Hearts and Alice in Wonderland. The cast members are as follows:

Disney+ Japan has also announced that it will host a Disney Twisted Wonderland Stage at Anime Japan 2025 on March 22. Hanae, Yamashita, Kobayashi, Sugiyama, and Miyamoto will appear as guests and will talk about the latest news and information about the new anime series. The series is animated by Yumeta Company (Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution) and Graphinica (The Heroic Legend of Arslan). The staff for the upcoming anime includes:

Disney Twisted Wonderland Anime Japan 2025

Disney Twisted Wonderland is a Japanese mobile game created by Disney and Aniplex. It was first released in Japan in 2020 before releasing in English in 2022. Yana Toboso, known for Black Butler (Kuroshitsuji) was in charge of the original plan, main script, and character designs. In the game, players are sent to a world of magic known as Twisted Wonderland where they attend a magic school called Night Raven College, meeting various students and staff with unique personalities. The characters of Twisted Wonderland are all inspired by Disney villains from different franchises.

Disney Twisted Wonderland: Episode of Heartslabyul is set to premiere in October 2025. The second season, Episode of Savanaclaw, and the third season, Episode of Octavinelle, will premiere at a later date.
