The LEGO Group, Netflix, and Tomorrow Studios are teaming up to turn dreams into reality as the ONE PIECE live-action series comes to life in all-new LEGO sets and Minifigures. It will feature the main Straw Hat crew, transporting fans into the heart of the action, featuring places and scenes from the live adaptation's East Blue story arc.

The collaboration was announced with a short teaser trailer showing a LEGO version of Luffy’s iconic straw hat. No exact release date was mentioned besides the “Coming Soon” announcement.

Lena Dixen, the Senior Vice President for Core Businesses at the LEGO Group, shared that this is truly a special collaboration:

“For the first time, LEGO play and the exciting world of anime meet. Building the world of ONE PIECE, as depicted in the Netflix live-action adaptation, in LEGO brick form has been such an exciting challenge and I couldn't be more excited for fans to experience the new adventures this ONE PIECE collaboration will bring them for the first time. Throughout this project with Netflix and Tomorrow Studios, it has been an exciting, collaborative process, and I think that shows in all the grand adventures we will begin to unveil soon.”

Meanwhile, Josh Simon, Vice President of Consumer Products, at Netflix, also shared his excitement:

“It has been an honor to bring the magnificent world of ONE PIECE to life both on and off the screen. We are excited to collaborate with the LEGO Group, a brand synonymous with creativity and the joy of play, to mark a historic moment as we build out the treasured manga’s adventures in iconic LEGO form for the first time ever. Through every detail of the design process, we've worked to meticulously create a collection of playsets that will give fans new ways to live out their own epic voyages into the Grand Line one special LEGO brick at a time."

Lastly, original author Eiichiro Oda drew an illustration about how he's dreamt about this for 25 years:

"LEGO sets are coming!! Even now, I have dozens of LEGO boxes piled up at my workplace that I haven't even had time to dig into. There's no cooler toy out there. For 25 years since the anime started, I've been asking for a LEGO toy, and finally, my dream is being fulfilled with a live-action collection! Thank you, to the LEGO Group. Woohoo! You can bet I'll be building and displaying them."

As Season 2 approaches, LEGO Group, Netflix, and Tomorrow Studios invite ONE PIECE fans from all over the world to follow the action and embark on their own grand adventures with multiple new LEGO sets, inspired by the iconic scenes from East Blue. Prepare to set sail into the vast world of LEGO building adventures - each set, each brick, and every build unleashes the thrill of the open sea!
