I Want to Love You Till Your Dying Day TV Anime Announced
I Want to Love You Till Your Dying Day (KimiShinu) manga is getting a TV anime adaptation by studio ROLL2. The staff includes:
- Director: Takudai Kakuchi
- Assistant Director: Yasushi Tomoda
- Series Composition/Screenplay: Jukki Hanada
- Character Design: Kyouko Yufu
- Music: Yukari Hashimoto
- Production Support: Evolroar
The anime, which revealed a pilot video (above) as part of the announcement, will adapt the girls' love (GL) manga by Nachi Aono:
- Rina Hidaka as Mimi Kagari
- Rie Takahashi as Sheena Totsuki
- Asami Seto as Lizzy Ceylan
- Yui Ishikawa as Moudo Ari
The manga was serialized in in Ichijinsha's Comic Yuri Hime magazine from 2018 to 2020, after which it moved to online serialization on PixivYurihime and Ichijin Plus websites. Kodansha USA is publishing the I Want to Love You Till Your Dying Day manga in English and describes the plot as:
Death lurks behind a mysterious orphanage where children train to become magical weapons of war. Among them is Sheena, who longs to stop the fighting and end the conflict. On one gruesome night, Sheena meets a strange girl covered in blood, with a smile on her face. The mysterious girl turns out to be a secret weapon—an immortal child soldier named Mimi. When the two become roommates, there is growing tension and attraction. How will the peace-loving Sheena live with someone who welcomes death?
