Kaiju No. 8: The Game Opens Global Pre-Registration
The upcoming Kaiju No. 8: The Game opened global pre-registrations on April 25. Co-produced by Akatsuki Games, TOHO, and Production I.G, the game immerses players in the world of Naoya Matsumoto’s best-selling series. The global pre-registration is now live (excluding Mainland China). The key visual (above) and trailer have also been revealed.
The Kaiju No. 8 game will be a free-to-play gacha game, as evident from the perks for pre-registration. Once the game reaches 500,000 pre-registrations, the players will get free 4-star character, Mina Ashiro.
The game will be available on the OS App Store, Google Play, and Steam
The cast from the anime adaptation will be reprising their roles:
- Kafka Hibino/Kaiju No. 8: Masaya Fukunishi
- Mina Ashiro: Asami Seto
- Reno Ichikawa: Wataru Katoh
- Kikoru Shinomiya: Fairouz Ai
- Soshiro Hoshina: Kengo Kawanishi
- Isao Shinomiya: Tessyo Genda
Kaiju No. 8: The Game will expand on the world of Naoya Matsumoto's manga and the anime adaptation. The anime is returning this summer with a second season. A recap movie of the first season and Hoshina's Day Off special were recently screened in theatres in North America.
