Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines Season 2 Announced
Season 2 of Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines anime has been officially announced at today's event featuring the main cast: Shuichiro Umeda, , Shion Wakayama, Momoka Terasawa, Hikaru Tono, and Minami Tanaka. The announce trailer has been revealed:
The first season of the anime premiered last year and was animated by A-1 Pictures and directed by Shotaro Kitamura. The anime featured character designs by Tetsuya Kawakami. Masahiro Yokotani did the series composition and Kana Utatane composed the music. The main cast includes:
- Shuichiro Umeda as Kazuhiko Nukumizu
- Hikaru Tono as Anna Yanami
- Shion Wakayama as Lemon Yakishio
- Momoka Terasawa as Chika Komari
- Minami Tanaka as Kaju Nukumizu
The anime is based on the Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines light novel series written by Takibi Amamori and illustrated by Imigimuru, serialized under Shogakukan's Gagaga Bunko imprint since 2021. A manga adaptation by Itachi has been ongoing on Shogakukan's Manga One platform since 2022. Seven Seas Entertainment is handling the English release.
Crunchyroll is streaming the anime and describes the plot as:
Meet the girls on the losing side of romance! First is Anna Yanami, the girl-next-door type who can’t say no to delicious food. Then there’s Lemon Yakishio, a beautiful and spirited athlete. Last but not least is Chika Komari, the cute yet shy heroine with gentle charm. Together, they navigate awkward setbacks hoping to finally find love!
