Medalist Anime Announces Season 2
Season 2 of Medalist anime was announced yesterday after the first season's finale. The 13-episode anime by studio ENGI began airing this January. A teaser visual for the announcement is out:

Takeo Otsuka and Natsumi Haruse led the cast of the Medalist as Tsukasa Akeuraji and Inori Yuitsuka. The staff for the first season of the anime included:

- Series Composition: Jukki Hanada
- Music: Yuki Hayashi
The announcement of Medalist's second season was also followed by a special announcement trailer, narrated by Natsumi Haruse (Inori):
Ikada Tsuruma is writing the original Medalist manga, serialized in Kodansha's Afternoon magazine since 2020. Kodansha US licensed the series in English and has so far published 11 volumes. 10 of them in print. The 12th volume of the manga was released in Japan this January.
Disney is streaming the anime and describes the plot as:
Tsukasa Akeuraji, a frustrated skater, meets a girl called Inori Yuitsuka, who is yearning to enter the world of figure skating. Motivated by Inori's obsession on the rink, Tsukasa takes on coaching Inori himself. Inori's talent blossoms, and Tsukasa becomes a brilliant mentor. Together they aim to make her a glorious medalist!
Medalist anime was featured at the recently held Sapporo Snow Festival in Japan with snow sculptures and various promotional materials.
