Moonrise Anime Reveals Official Trailer, April 10 Premiere
The Moonrise original net animation, produced by Wit Studio, has revealed an official trailer and an April 10 release date, at AnimeJapan 2025.

Moonrise is adapted from Tou Ubukata's novel of the same name, and directed by Masashi Koizuka at Wit Studio with character designs by Hiromu Arakawa of Fullmetal Alchemist and The Legend of Arslan. Tou Ubukata will also be writing the scripts, with Ryou Kawasaki composing music. The ending theme, "Daijobu" is performed by Aina the End.
The main voice cast includes:
- Chiaki Kobayashi as Jacob Shadow
- Yuto Uemura as Phil Ash

Netflix will streaming Moonrise worldwide, and describes the series as:
Caught in the heat of a cosmic conflict between Earth and the Moon, Jack (Chiaki Kobayashi) enlists as a scout in the Earth army seeking vengeance against the Moon's rebel army but discovers an unexpected leader.
