Oshi no Ko Season 3 Reveals New Teaser Visual
Oshi no Ko Season 3 revealed an updated version of the teaser visual, featuring Aqua's point of view. The anime premieres in 2026. Studio Doga Kobo is returning to animate with Daisuke Hiramaki.
The information was revealed during the AnimeJapan 2025 stage dedicated to the anime. The cast presented the new information and celebrate the 1 million subscribers milestone on the official YouTube channel.
Chao Nekotomi and Kuniyasu Nishina, who were the assistants directors for the previous seasons, shared that they would not be returning and that the third season of Oshi no Ko will not have assistant directors. Their names are not listed on the official website for the third season.
Oshi no Ko is based on the manga series written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari, which ran in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump between 2020 and 2024. The series was compiled into 16 volumes and has so far been adapted into two seasons of anime, a TV drama and a live-action film. Up-coming Season 3 is scheduled to air in 2026.
The anime is being handled by studio Doga Kobo with Daisuke Hiramaki directing, Jin Tanaka handling screenwriting, and Takuro Iga on music duties. The main cast includes:
- Takeo Otsuka as Aqua
- Yurie Igoma as Ruby
- Rie Takahashi as Ai
- Megumi Han as Kana
- Manaka Iwami as Akane
The anime is available to stream on HIDIVE, as well as Netflix.
The TV drama was released worldwide on Amazon Prime Video with a follow-up film to conclude the story released in cinemas in Japan last December. They star Kaito Sakurai as Aqua, Nagisa Saito as Ruby, and Asuka Saito as Ai.
The manga is being released by Yen Press, who have released 9 volumes in print and digitally so far. The publisher describes the series as follows:
