Puella Magi Madoka Magica Magia Exedra Unveils Opening Video by SHAFT

Puella Magi Madoka Magica Magia Exedra game revealed the opening video by studio SHAFT. The video features theme song "lighthouse" by FictionJunction feat. LINO LEIA. Yuki Kajiura composed, wrote the lyrics, and did the arrangement for the song, which also features vocals by Kaori, Yuriko Kaida, and Emiko.

Magia Exedra officially launches on March 27, with Aniplex as the publisher. The game will be available on Android, iOS, and later Steam. It will utilize gacha elements and is currently giving out perks to players who pre-register.

The cast consists of many familiar names from the Madoka Magica franchise, including Aoi Yuki as Madoka, Chiwa Saito as Homura, Kaori Mizuhashi as Mami Tomoe, Eri Kitamura as Sayaka Miki, Momo Asakura as Iroha Tamaki, and more. Magia Record characters will also be featured.

Puella Magi Madoka Magica, an original anime project created by the Magica Quartet (Akiyuki Shinbo, Ume Aoki, Gen Urobuchi, and producer Atsuhiro Iwakami), premiered in January 2011 as a TV anime. The series also spawned multiple manga series (adaptations and spin-offs), a novel by Nitroplus, a dedicated magazine, video games, and more.

The latest installment in the franchise is the Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Walpurgisnacht - Rising movie, slated to premiere later this year.
