Emilia and Subaru's voice actors, Rie Takahashi and Yusuke Kobayashi released statements regarding the new season announcement.

Did you think we'd wait another four years? We won't keep you waiting!
We have decided to produce a fourth season! There's that girl we missed, Subaru is not in his jersey, there are people who used to be enemies, Julius has a sad face, and the teaser visual alone is enough to bring up all kinds of feelings. Please look forward to the broadcast to see what kind of scenery the next season will show us!
