Record of Ragnarok Season 3 Announced With Teaser Trailer
Season 3 of the Record of Ragnarok anime has been announced with a teaser visual and trailer earlier today. Yumeta Company and Maru Animation are teaming up for animation.
Koichi Hatsumi is directing the sequel with Yasuyuki Muto on the series composition and script. Hisashi Kawashima and Yoko Tanabe are credited for character designs. Yasuharu Takanashi is returning to compose the music.
Yumeta Company, previously known as TYO Animations, also animated the second season of the Record of Ragnarok anime with Graphinica (its parent company, which solely animated the first season). On the other hand, Record of Ragnarok III will be Maru Animation's first Japanese anime co-production, as the Korean studio has previously mainly assisted with titles such as Karakuri Circus.

Record of Ragnarok is based on a manga written by Shinya Umemura and Takumi Fukui, and illustrated by Azychika. The manga has been serialized since 2017 in Coamix’s Monthly Comic Zenon magazine. Viz Media is publishing the manga in English and describes the plot as:
The valkyrie Brunhilde has convinced the gods to give humanity a chance at redemption through combat in the Valhalla arena. Seeking a quick end to the proceedings, the gods present their first fighter, Thor, the Norse god of thunder. Facing him is a warrior said to be the strongest in the history of mankind, the legendary general Lü Bu!
A side story The Legend of Lü Bu with art by Takeo Ono was serialized from 2019 to 2022.
Just like the previous seasons, Record of Ragnarok III will also stream on Netflix.
