Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma and STORY OF SEASONS: Grand Bazaar Announce Nintendo Switch 2 Release
Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma and STORY OF SEASONS: Grand Bazaar are coming to Nintendo Switch 2, which was presented just earlier today. Both games are developed by Marvelous Inc. and will be also be published by the company in Europe and APAC.
The news was announced following today's Nintendo Direct show.
Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma
The latest installment in the infamous Rune Factory franchise, the Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma, is coming out on May 30. It will be available on Switch and Steam.
The Celestial Collapse—a calamity caused by a colossal object crashing into the eastern lands known as Azuma. The devastating impact sent fragments of terrain to the skies above and the seas below. With the earth shattered, the power provided by the runes ceased to flow. The gods of nature vanished soon after. Mountains crumbled and fields withered, leaving the people with nothing…not even hope.

The standard edition of the game will cost €59.99 on Nintendo Switch and PC, and €69.99 on Nintendo Switch 2. A Digital Deluxe edition, which includes the game, the “Seasons of Love Bundle,” and the “Festive Attire and Dark Woolby Bundle” will be available on the Nintendo Switch and PC for €69,99; and as a Super Digital Deluxe edition, which includes the game, the “Seasons of Love Bundle,” the “Festive Attire and Dark Woolby Bundle,” a digital soundtrack, and digital art book, will be available on the Nintendo Switch and PC for €79.99. All digital versions of the game will come with the “Rune Factory 4 Hero Outfit Bundle” as a special bonus.
Nintendo Switch 2 players will be able to upgrade to “Digital Deluxe” DLC set containing the “Seasons of Love Bundle” and the “Festive Attire and Dark Woolby Bundle” for €9.99, and a “Super Digital Deluxe” DLC set containing the “Seasons of Love Bundle,” the “Festive Attire and Dark Woolby Bundle,” a digital soundtrack, and digital art book for €19.99. Digital pre-order options across all platforms will be available soon.
STORY OF SEASONS: Grand Bazaar
STORY OF SEASONS: Grand Bazaar is slated for August 27, 2025 release date. In addition to Nintendo Switch, the game is also coming to Steam.
