Volume 3 of the shonen manga RuriDragon is out today in Japan and in celebration of the release, the Shonen Jump YouTube channel have teamed up with band ZUTOMAYO to create a special animated promotional video (PV):

The video showcases protagonist Ruri and several of her classmates enjoying their high school life as they dance along to ZUTOMAYO's "Mirror Tune" single. The song was first released by the band in April 2022, ahead of their third full-length album which released in the following June.

Masaoki Shindo's RuriDragon began in Weekly Shonen Magazine in June 2022, but went on a lengthy hiatus after just six chapters due to the author's health. In March 2024, the series returned to the magazine for a couple of chapters before moving across to Shonen Jump +, where the release schedule changed to bi-weekly.

Viz Media have been releasing the series digitally through their Shonen Jump app since it began. They have also been releasing the manga in digital and physical volumes since January. The publisher describes the plot as follows:

Well, a half dragon. Her mom admits Ruri inherited her draconic traits from her father, who, yes, is actually a dragon. As if dealing with curious classmates wasn’t already challenging enough, Ruri and her dragon genes literally turn up the heat in the middle of a lecture. Her ordinary life is about to be anything but!
