Skip and Loafer Season 2 Unveils Teaser Visual

Skip and Loafer anime revealed a teaser visual for the upcoming Season 2. The premiere date is still unknown. P.A. Works is animating the sequel to the anime that originally premiered in 2023.

Kotomi Deai directed the first season, which featured character designs by Manami Umeshita. Deai was also in charge of the series composition. Umeshita and Reina Igawa were also the chief animation directors. The same staff is returning for the second season, with Yoko Yonaiyama as an addition on series composition.

Skip and Loafer follows Mitsumi, a girl whose dream is to enter a prestigious university and change the world. She moves to Tokyo and begins attending high school there, but her ways soon have her feeling overwhelmed. Soon, she meets Sousuke, a (handsome) classmate who is her complete opposite. In the anime, the two are voiced by Tomoyo Kurosawa and Akinori Egoshi.

The anime adapts the manga of the same title by Misaki Takamatsu, serialization in 2018 in Kodansha’s Afternoon magazine. Seven Seas is publishing the manga in English.

Crunchyroll is streaming the anime and describes the plot as:
This country girl is ready for the big city! Well, at least she thought she was. Mitsumi’s dream is to attend a prestigious school and make the world a better place. But when she finally gets to Tokyo, it turns out she isn’t exactly prepared for city life. Luckily, she runs into Shima, a sweet and handsome classmate who becomes her first friend! Can she make it in Tokyo with Shima by her side?
