The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You Anime Releases New Character Visuals
The only bad thing about harem shows is that someone loses. That’s a fact that Yukiko Nozawa apparently hates, so when they wrote The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You, they made sure everyone would win. And that was a winning combination, as the 100 Kanojo anime was one of Fall 2023's most loved titles. So popular was the rom-com harem that a second season is only weeks away! And to keep up the hype, the team released character visuals for the girls that will soon join Rentaro's harem.
New 100 Girlfriends Character Visuals
Featuring future #teamRentaro's love interests, the visuals, which are set to a heart-framed illustration, include Kurumi Haraga (CV - Amane Shindo), Iku Suto (CV - Rie Takahashi), Meme Kakure (CV - Kanon Takao), and Mimimi Utsukushisugi (CV - Lynn).
The premiere date for Season 2 of 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You is scheduled for January 12th, 2025. Bibury Animation Studios is in charge of the show's animation. Hikaru Sato will reprise his role as the show's director and Masanori Tsuchiya as the show's sound director. The anime adapts Yukiko Nozawa's (art by Rikito Nakamura) manga of the same name. Currently, the manga boasts 19 tankōbon volumes.
What’s 100 Girlfriends About?
While most people ask themselves, "What is love?" (Baby, don't hurt me), Rentaro asks himself, "Where is love?" The poor lad suffers more rejection than a refugee landing on Greek shores. But when a disheartened Rentaro visits the shrine of a god of love to lament his maidenless life, the god pulls the ultimate wingman move. He promises Rentaro that soon 100 hotties will be fawning over him. But there's a catch: should he reject their love, they die. Being the gentle soul that he is, Rentaro steels his resolve so that he can be the man that those hundred girls all deserve.
