The I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World TV Special Announced
The I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in the Real World, Too anime announced that a new TV special is in production. Millepensee is animating the new project with Shin Itagaki as the director.
Shin Itagaki was the chief director for the first season of the anime, with Shingo Tanabe as the director. The main cast included Akari Kito as Kaori Hojo, Kaori Maeda as Lexia von Arcelia, and Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Yuya Tenjo. The new anime project was previously teased but not confirmed until today.
The anime is based on a light novel written by Miku and illustrated by Rein Kuwashima. KADOKAWA is serializing the novel under its Fujimi Fantasia Bunko imprint, while a manga adaptation by Kazuomi Minatogawa is ongoing in Dengeki Comic Regulus.
Yen Press licensed both the light novel and the manga in English and describes the plot as:
A Chance to Come Back!
A mysterious door stands open, inviting a boy who’s been brutally bullied all his life to take a courageous step forward into the unknown.
