Trapezium Movie Begins Streaming on Crunchyroll
Trapezium movie is now streaming on Crunchyroll with English subtitles, the streaming platform announced earlier today. The movie, animated by CloverWorks, was released in Japan in May of last year and screened in North America starting on September 18.
The movie features “Wannabe” by MAISONdes (feat. Hoshimachi Suisei & sakuma) as the opening theme song and “HoiJishin” by cast: Yu Azuma (Asaki Yuikawa), Kurumi Okawa (Hina Youmiya), Ranko Hanatori (Reina Ueda), and Mika Kamei (Haruka Aikawa) as the ending theme song.
Trapezium adapted Kazumi Takayama’s debut novel, serialized under Kadokawa’s Da Vinch imprint from 2016 to 2018 and also published as a book. Takayama is a Japanese celebrity and was once a member of the Nogizaka46 idol group.

High school student Yu Azuma will do whatever it takes to become an idol. She’s even sworn to stay off social media and promises not to get a boyfriend. Ready to make her dream a reality, she decides to find three other girls from the four corners of her prefecture to form an idol group. But the road to stardom hides unexpected trials that threaten to undo all she’s worked for.
