Voice Actress Fairouz Ai Transfers to Mausu Promotion
Voice actress Fairouz Ai, known for her roles as Jolyne Cujo from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean and Power from Chainsaw Man franchise, will be ending her contract with Raccoon Dog on March 31 and transferring to Mausu Promotion.
Fairouz Ai has been active since 2018 and was initially affiliated with Pro-Fit. After Pro-fit shut down, she moved to Raccoon Dog talent agency, which mainly represents seiyu (Japanese voice actors). Raccoon Dog was founded in 2021 by voice actor Nobuhiko Okamoto after the closure of Pro-Fit and officially launched in 2022.
Mausu Promotion, formerly known as Ezaki Productions, was founded in 1974 and is known for also representing voice actors such as Kentaro Igo, Kengo Kawanishi, Yuki Kuwahara, Nozomi Furuki, and more.
In December of last year, Raccoon Dog announced that Fairouz Ai has developed PTSD and that she would be taking some to recover while limiting her activities. Voice actress asked fans to refrain from speculating and revealed that she decided to take time to recover, both mentally and physically. In addition to her roles as Jolyne and Power, Fairouz Ai is also known as Hibiki Sakura in How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift? (for which she also sang the theme song), Cecily in KonoSuba, Eripiyo in If My Favorite Pop Idol Made It to the Budokan, I Would Die, and more.
