White Magician Exiled From the Hero Party Anime Reveals Key Visual, Trailer
The previously announced Yuusha Party wo Tsuihou sareta Shiromadoushi, S-Rank Boukensha ni Hirowareru (White Magician Exiled From the Hero Party, Picked Up by S-Rank Adventurer) anime revealed the first trailer and key visual earlier today.
Felix Film is animating the adaptation, which premieres in the Summer 2025 anime season, with Hiroshi Tamada as the director. Akihiko Inari is in charge of the series composition and Yuta Ito is doing the character designs.
The main cast, featured in the trailer, includes:
- Gakuto Kajiwara as Lloyd
- Rina Hidaka as Yui
- Haruka Shiraishi as Silica
- Diasuke Hirose as Cross
- Yuichiro Umehara as Dougas

The anime will adapt the light novel series written by written by Sora Suigetsu and illustrated by DeeCHA. The series initially started out as a web novel series on Shosetsuka ni Naro in 2020. It was acquired by Futabasha later that year and has been serialized under their M Novels imprint since (print editions). The author, Sora Suigetsu, is a university student and has recently posted apologizing about potential delays as they finish up their studies and job search.
A manga adaptation with Wasabi Mukuno's art also exists and has been serialized online in Futabasha's Gaugau Monster online magazine since January 2021.
The light novel currently has seven volumes out, although Volumes 6-7 have only been released in the e-book format. The manga published its eighth volume last November. The series has not been licensed in English and the translated title comes from the anime's official website. It appears that the anime will adapt the manga while featuring DeeCHA's original character designs.
