Yu-Gi-Oh! The Card Game Chronicles Announces First Episode Release Date

The first part of the upcoming Yu-Gi-Oh! The Card Game Chronicles short promotional anime, covering the "Sky Striker" story, will premiere April 21 at 12pm JST. The release date was revealed during a live stream on the official YouTube Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG Channel, where the episode will also be released. The animated series is discussed start the 1:20 minute-mark.

The stream featured Kensho Miyashita (from the Miyashita Kusanagi comedy duo), Jun Utahiroba (Golden Bomber), and Good 8 Squad's gachikun with voice actor Yusuke Tonozaki as the MC. In addition to new information about the upcoming short anime, they also discussed new cards and other updates from the fandom. Tasuku Hatanaka, Yuna Inamura, and Kimagure Cook made video appearances.

Yu-Gi-Oh! The Card game Chronicles "Sky Striker" was previously announced as a two-part series the second of which will be released on an unspecified date in May. KONAMI’s in-house studio, KONAMI Animation, is in charge of the animation. In addition to Sky Striker Ace, the anime will also cover the Fallen of Albaz, from the "Story of White" series starting June.
