Zombie Land Saga Movie Announces 2025 Premiere, Title
The Zombie Land Saga: Yumeginga Paradise movie revealed a 2025 premiere date with a visual and trailer. Studio MAPPA is animating the movie, which was first announced in October 2021.
Zombie Land Saga original anime premiered in the Fall 2018 anime season. Studio MAPPA animated it with Munehisa Sakai as the director. Shigeru Murakoshi did the series composition, and Kasumi Fukagawa was in charge of the character designs. The first season had 12 episodes and was followed by Zombie Land Saga Revenge (Season 2) in 2021. Sakai was the director once again.
Zombie Land Saga: Yumeginga Paradise - Kick Off Trailer
The plot follows an idol group composed entirely of zombies, who live and work in Saga, Japan. Crunchyroll is streaming both seasons of the anime and teases the story:
A typical morning. The usual music. Their normal lives. The peace these seven girls experience will suddenly be destroyed. By the living dead... zombies. A reality that they never wanted a part of, an amazing and terrifying zombie world. They all share one wish: "We want to live." These girls will struggle through this saga, in order to achieve a miracle.
The Zombie Land Saga franchise has two manga. The first was an adaptation of the anime by Megumu Soramichi, and it ran from October 2018 to June 2021, while the second is a spin-off focused on Tae. The franchise was created by MAPPA, avex pictures, and Cygames.
